Hoban Group has selected start-up companies with high growth potential to discover innovative technologies and take a win-win step.

Hoban Group announced on the 28th that it has selected four excellent start-ups in the Hoban Next Startup Contest co-hosted with the Ministry of SMEs and Startups.
The technology competition, which marks its sixth anniversary this year, is a representative open innovation program in which Hoban Group co-hosts with the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, the Korea Institute for Startup Promotion (KISED) and the Seoul Economic Promotion Agency (SBA) to select excellent companies.

As a result of the public offering since March, a total of 78 companies applied for smart cities, accommodation, leisure, distribution, manufacturing, and new businesses, and the final four companies were selected in IoT, new construction materials, smart construction, and artificial intelligence (AI).
The evaluation was conducted by comprehensively considering technological innovation, business feasibility, and core holding capabilities.
At the awards ceremony, "Arch Seoul Co., Ltd." was honored with the grand prize.
Arch Seoul is a company that has developed a security solution that prevents personal information leakage by abusing QR codes and has been highly evaluated in terms of technological innovation and business connection.
Arch Seoul's security solution will be applied to Resom Resort's store QR order and room service in the future, and it plans to establish an electronic document system at the group's workplaces, including Hoban Construction.

The Excellence Award was awarded to ▲Dawnsonty Co., Ltd. (Integrated Mobile Service with Construction Interface) ▲ Mirroid Co., Ltd. (AI-based automatic classification of personal photos and virtual content creation technology) ▲ Shield Tech Co., Ltd. (Primer Integrated Polymer Coat for Waterproofing on the Floor of Parking Lot).
The winning companies will be provided with a total of 130 million won in commercialization support and will also be given opportunities to collaborate with Hoban Group. They will receive a variety of follow-up support, including ▲ Technology Testbed ▲ Joint Development and Demonstration (PoC) ▲ Tips (TIPS) program linkage ▲PR support ▲ market development and consulting on global expansion.

We will continue to contribute to the spread of an ecosystem that grows together with startups in various fields as well as the construction industry."

Meanwhile, Hoban Group has been continuing joint technology development and collaboration with promising SMEs through the operation of various open innovation programs such as the Hoban Innovation Technology Contest since 2020. In recognition of these efforts, Hoban Construction has maintained an excellent grade for eight consecutive years in the 'Shared Growth Index Evaluation' organized by the Shared Growth Committee.
